We’re proud to announce that we’ve officially become a White Ribbon UK Supporter Organisation, joining hundreds of others across the country who are committed to ending violence against women and girls.
This isn’t just a badge on our website or a logo in our email signatures — it’s a promise. A promise to never use, excuse, or remain silent about men’s violence against women. It’s a commitment to challenge harmful attitudes, raise awareness, and help create a culture of respect, safety and equality.
Why White Ribbon?
White Ribbon UK is the leading charity engaging men and boys to prevent violence against women and girls. Their work focuses on primary prevention — tackling the root causes of violence by changing long-standing norms around masculinity, power and gender. They believe, as we do, that change starts with all of us.
As a Supporter Organisation, we’ve signed up to take seven meaningful actions over the next three years. These include:
- Encourage people to wear a White Ribbon and make the White Ribbon Promise to never use, excuse or remain silent about men’s violence against women.
- Select a designated Lead Contact, James Craft, who completed his registration to become a White Ribbon Ambassador or Champion.
- Encourage staff/members and people in your community to consider registering to become a White Ribbon Ambassador or Champion.
- Show that you support White Ribbon by displaying the Supporter Organisation badge on your website, email signatures and in public places.
- Raise awareness all year round & mark White Ribbon Day on 25th November each year.
- Have policies and guidelines in place that protect staff and support them if they experience harassment, abuse and violence.
- Ensure people know where they can get help and support by sharing information among staff, through signage and online.
What This Means for Our Community
We know that violence against women and girls is a serious, prevalent and preventable issue. By supporting White Ribbon, we’re helping to change the story — not just within our organisation, but in the wider community we serve.
We’ll be sharing resources, starting conversations, and encouraging others to get involved. Whether it’s through staff training, community events, or simply wearing a ribbon, every action counts.
Join Us
We invite our clients, partners and supporters to stand with us. Make the White Ribbon Promise. Start a conversation. Share the message. Together, we can help build a future where everyone feels safe, respected and heard.
